Field changes to Sun products. Send questions or comments to finfco-manager@cte.corp. If the corrective action requires parts replacement on a global basis for a generic
hardware issue, then an FCO should be created.

Field alert notices for Sun products. Send questions or comments to
finfco-manager@cte.corp. If the corrective action is a diagnostic solution or modified service procedure or a software solution that does NOT require a hardware part swap,
then the field notice CAN BE A FIN.
Infodocs
Informational articles, product service documents, tip sheets, quick reference
guides for external customers. An InfoDoc is used when you want to create a document
that relays information about a product or describes how to accomplish a particular
action. The document includes an explanation of when and why the user would want to use
the information and specific step-by-step procedures and techniques. The InfoDoc
pertains to a Sun product, command, or environment and contains hints, techniques or
tips about a procedure. If you are searching for how something is done, search for an
InfoDoc.

Availability, Security, and DataLoss that may pose risk to a customer's computing
environments and productivity. For contract customers. A Sun Alert document is a
notification to customers of known (resolved or unresolved) product issues that may
negatively impact a customers' computing environments or productivity.
Symptoms
and Resolutions (SRDBs)
Articles that describe a problem and provide a solution. A Symptom/Resolution document
is used when you want to review an article that describes a symptom and provides the
solution. The document includes an error or problem statement and a
resolution or workaround.

White papers, product specifications, and other formal articles on
technical topics for external customers
