The Sun Update Connection keeps Solaris 10 users on track by informing you of the latest available security fixes, recommended updates, and feature updates. Through notifications and intelligent updates, the Sun Update Connection services help improve your efficiency and ensure you're working with the latest and greatest versions of all your Sun software. Don't get derailed by working without the latest security updates and software enhancements.

Sun Update Connection services lets you analyze and update your systems and stay up to date from anywhere-while providing easy access to software baselines and updates. Depending on your needs, you can opt for single-system local or multiple-system remote update management. Learn more today on how keeping your system up-to-date is simpler and easier.

As you may know, Solaris 10 updates (aside from security fixes and drivers) are only available to customers who purchase a Sun support contract. However, for a limited time, Sun is making all Solaris 10 updates available through SunSolve and the Sun Update Connection. Starting in Mid-Summer 2005 continued access to all available Solaris 10 updates through SunSolve or Sun Update Connection services will require that you have a Sun support plan. In conjunction with this, Solaris 10 security fixes and drivers will continue to be available (with registration, but without the need for a support plan) through the Sun Update Connection.

At the end of this limited all-access period, if you require continued access to all the available Solaris 10 updates and have a Sun support plan (support contract number), you can register with the Sun Update Connection or SunSolve. This simple process will enable you with the necessary privileges to continue to access Solaris 10 updates.
