1. Impact
A security vulnerability in the Online Help feature of Sun Java System
Directory Server 5.2 may allow a local or remote unprivileged user to
determine if particular files or directories exist on the
system. In certain cases, a single line of a file's contents may be
revealed as well.
Sun acknowledges with thanks, the National Australia Bank's Security Assurance Team for for the discovery and reporting of this vulnerability.

- Sun Java System Directory Server 5.2
Note: Sun Java System Directory Server Enterprise Edition 6.x is not affected by this issue.

On Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, and AIX systems:
$ cd <installation directory>/bin/slapd/server
$ ./ns-slapd -V -D <instance-directory>

$ cd <installation directory>/bin/slapd/server/64
$ ./ns-slapd -V -D <instance-directory>
Sun Java(TM) System Directory Server/5.2
On 64-bit HP-UX:
$ cd <installation directory>/bin/slapd/server/pa20_64
$ ./ns-slapd -V -D <instance-directory>
Sun Java(TM) System Directory Server/5.2
On Windows systems:
