Impact
Sun StorEdge 3510 Fiber Channel (FC) array may lose connectivity from the host or a logical drive initialization may fail.
Contributing Factors
This issue can occur in the following releases:
SPARC Platform

Sun StorEdge 3510 FC array with firmware version 3.27N or earlier
This issue only occurs after an internal disk drive command transaction timeout (error code "62F") has been generated.
To verify the firmware version, use the "telnet" or serial interface to the Sun StorEdge 3510 and select "View System Information" from the main menu.
Symptoms
Should the described issue occur, messages similar to the following are logged in the "/var/adm/messages" file, or in the Sun StorEdge 3510 event log:
SCSI Drive ALERT: Unexpected Sense Received (62F)
Also, a logical drive initialization may fail with the same timeout error as shown above.
Workaround
There is no workaround. Please see the "Resolution" section below.
