Impact
On Sun Netra t 1120/1125 and Netra t 1400/1405 systems with Netra Lights Out Management (LOM), the LOM driver may hang the system when the "shutdown -i6 -g0 -y" command is issued. This issue may occur only on rare occasions.

The described issue may occur when issuing the "shutdown -i6 -g0 -y" command or performing a system reboot.
Symptoms
When this issue occurs, the system hangs after the message "syncing filesystems... done" appears. The LOM console is unaffected, and certain LOM functions are still available (i.e. the "ok" prompt can be reached by sending a "break" on the serial console, the system can be pinged, or the system can be rebooted).
Workaround
There is no workaround. Please see the "Resolution" section below.
