Impact

Sun Fire 12K/15K servers with 1200 MHz Uniboards running System Management Software (SMS) 1.4 may experience L2SRAM errors. The tolerance of the system clock may allow incorrect L2SRAM timing settings to be used by the system during reboot (POST), resulting in this issue.

• Sun Fire 12K/15K with System Management Software (SMS) 1.4 without patch 116861-01

Notes:

1. Sun Fire 12K/15K with SMS 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 are not affected.
2. This issue exists only on Sun Fire 12K/15K servers with 1200MHz Uniboards.
