Impact

On a Sun StorEdge 6120 or Sun StoreEdge T3+ Array with firmware version 3.1.4 or earlier, running the "refresh -i" command followed by running Explorer "t3extended" twice, may cause a system reset. The array will not be accessible until a reset is complete.

To work around the described issue, do not run the "refresh -i" command on arrays with firmware 3.1.4 or below.

This issue is addressed in the following platforms:

  • Sun StorEdge 6120 Array with firmware patch 115179-12 or later
  • Sun StorEdge T3+ Array with firmware patch 115180-07 or later
