Some Sun "Type 7" keyboards connected to Sun Ray 2 (or 2FS) Desktop Units are reported to become unresponsive after an extended period of idle time for a SunRay session. Pressing keys on the keyboard does not reactivate the SunRay from "sleep" mode. (The Sun Ray session is unaffected).
The keyboard may become unresponsive after an extended idle period of a Sun Ray session.
To work around the described issue, disconnect and then re-connect the keyboard to the Sun Ray, or power-cycle the Sun Ray unit to restore the system to a functional state.
