Patch Installation Instructions:

To install the patch:
0. This patch has the dependency on patch 125069-01 which needs 
   to be applied first before installing this patch. 
1. Stop the appserver node-agents and domains of all instances
2. Take backup of <appserver_install_base>\setup\asconfigurator.properties file, for safety reason.
3. Invoke 122848-11.exe, which will update the current installation.
4. Copy 122848-11\Scripts\PostPatch.class file to <appserver_install_base>\lib directory.
5. cd <appserver_install_base>\lib\ and execute "java PostPatch"
6. Start the appserver domains and node-agents of all instances
 
To uninstall the patch:
 
1. Stop the node-agents and domains of all instances.
2. Run Uninstall_122848-11.bat
3. cd <appserver_install_base>\lib\ and execute "java PostPatch"
4. del <appserver_install_base>\lib\PostPatch.class
5. Start the appserver domains and node-agents of all instances

A. If the Load Balancer plugin is installed with a supported web server, please execute the following steps after applying the patch:
 
1. Copy passthrough.dll from "<appserver_install_base>\lib\webserver-plugin\windows\iws\passthrough.dll" to the  webserver install folder "webserver\plugins\lbplugin\bin"
 (Note: the example is given for  Sun Web Server. For other version of web server used, copy the library file from the corresponding directory)
2. Copy sun-loadbalancer_1_1.dtd from "<appserver_install_base>\lib\dtds\sun-loadbalancer_1_1.dtd" to webserver instance folder "webserver\<instance>\config"
 
B.  Known Issues and Workarounds:
 
1. 6295215 java.sql.statement.getConnection() doesn't meet javadoc specification for pooling connections
 
This is the documentation part for this bug. When connection is obtained from Appserver connection pool and statement is obtained from the connection using any of the available methods like createStatement, prepareStatement etc.., by default native(physical) statement object is obtained. So when the statement.getConnection() is called you will get native(physical) connection which is not wrapped connection. In this context if close is called on this object then physical connection will be closed which will break the connection pool logic.
 
To avoid this problem user can get the wrapped statements by setting the jvm property:
<jvm-option>com.sun.appserv.jdbc.wrapJdbcObjects=true</jvm-option>
 
2. copy capture-schema.bat from <appserver_install_location>/pointbase/tools/serveroption to <appserver_install_location>/bin [ requirement for Ant test. ]
