A. If the Load Balancer plugin is installed with a supported web server, please execute the following steps:
1. Copy libpassthrough.so from "<AS_INSTALL>/lib/webserver-plugin/windows/iws/passthrough.dll" to the webserver install folder "webserver/plugins/lbplugin/bin"
 (Note: the example is given for  Sun Web Server 6.1. For other version of web server used, copy the library file from the corresponding directory)

B. Known Issues and Workarounds:
 
1. 6295215 java.sql.statement.getConnection() doesn't meet javadoc specification for pooling connections
This bug has been fixed in 119172-05. This is the documentation part for that .
 
When connection is obtained from Appserver connection pool and statement is obtained from the connection using any of the available methods like createStatement, prepareStatement etc.., by default native(physical) statement object is obtain
ed.So when the statement.getConnection() is called you will get native(physical) connection which is not wrapped connection. In this context if close is called on this object then physical connection will be closed which will break the connection pool logic.
To avoid this problem user can get the wrapped statements by setting the jvm property
<jvm-option>com.sun.appserv.jdbc.wrapJdbcObjects=true</jvm-option>
