Patch Installation Instructions:

1) Make sure the StarOffice/StarSuite application is closed.
 
2) Execute the patch installation program by running so-6_0-pp7-bin-solia.bin
 
3) You can now restart the StarOffice/StarSuite application.

Special Install Instructions:

To patch a Network Installation, start the Product Update Installation Program using the parameter '-patch' [path to network installation].
 
Before you apply the patch to your Network Installation please set your umask value to 022 ("umask 022") to apply the patch properly. If you do not set the umask value to 022, users other than you will not be able to use the Network Installation after applying the patch.
 
Special Note:

There have been incidents where users using certain double byte characters in their login names or in the path to the tmp/temp directory could have a problem saving a document. In case you encounter such a problem, please apply this patch to ensure efficient use of StarOffice/StarSuite 6.0.
